• 8/8/10- The Armadildos defeat the Unsalted Pugs 4-1 in the longest game of 2010 (16 innings)
• 8/8/10- The CullPepper Salt clinch their 4th straight season championship
• 8/8/10- The Unsalted Pugs lose the lead in the wild card for the first time in 4 years
• 8/1/10- Chico Jose takes a hard liner to the face off of Benny B's bat. He was ok
• 8/1/10- Bronze Kelly Pitches a 10 inning no-hitter against the CullPepper Salt. The Unsalted Pugs won the game 1-0
• 7/31/10- Sex Masta Wes hits his first HR in the AWA
• 7/30/10- Matt Wark breaks his record for most times suspended with 6. He extends his record for games suspended to 34 games
• 7/30/10- Chico Jose Morales fields a grounder that went straight into his pants for an out
• 7/27/10- To continue a game without having to mercy rule  the Grasskickers, Benny B said he would lob the pitches in for Chico and Danny to hit a solo HR. The hitters both wiffed at 6 straight lobs and the game ended
• 7/26/10- Matt Wark ties his own record for times suspended at 5. He set this record in 2008. He extends the record for games suspended to 17.
• 7/24/10- New fencing goes up at Tiere Field, which was a much needed improvement
• 7/11/10- Matt Wark is suspended again, which increases his record totals to 12 suspended games in 2010 and 4 times suspended
• 7/11/10- Eric Koloski has won the 2010 HR Derby. He is the first repeat champions, also winning in 2009
• 7/11/10- This years All Star game was another classic game for the record books. The South consisted of Pat Ramsey, Alex Pompei, and was captained by Benny B for the third straight year. The North consisted of Eric Koloski, Ri Ri Mcallister (Substituted by Chico Morales), and captained by Bronze Kelly for the third straight year. The south came into this matchup 2-0 in All Star games. The North had other plans however. Pompei and Chico were scheduled to pitch the first innings for their teams. Pompei allowed 1 run and escaped a bases loaded situation. Chico allowed 1 HR to Benny B. The game was tied 1-1 after 1 inning. The more recognized pitchers of Eric Koloski, Benny B, Bronze Kelly, and Pat Ramsey took over the mound for the rest of the game. It was a battle to set up any offensive threat.The game quickly became an extra inning ordeal. During extra innings, Pat Ramsey completely hit the zone and became unstoppable. Benny B described it as "The most unbelievable pitching performance I have ever seen from any player in the league, absolutely ridiculous". Not only did Ramsey light up the mound but he also almost ended the game twice off of Koloski, with big triples. The South came close again in the bottom of the 14th inning when Benny B hit the top of the roof off of Bronze, the ball just didn't have the extra foot of distance. Trouble hit for the South in the 15th. Pompei started off the inning by walking Chico. Ramsey then followed up with a walk of his own. It eventually went down to a bases loaded, 2 out scenario. Ramsey was facing Koloski, and he just didnt have it. He issued a 5 pitch walk and the North took the lead. Pompei then came up big against chico to keep the lead to a minimum. The South still couldnt catch a break on offense as their hits were eaten up by Bronze in center field. The game finally ended after 15 long innings, which tied the record for longest game in 2010. Koloski was elected the MVP with a great pitching performance, 2 hits, and the winning RBI. The South can still boast the better record of 2-1, but the North proved that they are here, and here to stay for many years.
• 7/5/10- Joe Czarnik gets a minor 2 game suspension for bat throwing and he explodes. He continues to violate and harms other players. He takes the hose and sprays water everywhere. It took about 10 minutes for security to contain him. the final verdict comes out that he will receive a 10 game suspension which is the largest ever handed out
• 7/3/10- The CullPepper Salt score 21 runs in an inning against the FUP Grasskickers. It was an AWA Best
• 6/23/10- A record was set for most suspension time in one day. Danny Ramsey racked up an 8 game suspension at the Unsalted Pugs / CullPepper Salt game
• 6/23/10- The CullPepper Salt and the Unsalted Pugs went into another deep game. The game totaled 15 innings which is 3 games long and 3 innings shy of the record for longest game. the game went about 2 and a half hours. The Unsalted Pugs won with a walk off single from Ri Ri Mcallister
• 6/22/10- In a crazy game that concluded in an unbelievable comeback, Pompei led the struggling Armadildos to a win over the winless FUP Grasskickers. The highlight was in a 6-6 game in the bottom of the 5th, Pompei found himself in a familiar situation on the mound. With bases loaded, 2 outs, and a juicebox count to the batter. This time he drilled a strike and went on to win the game 14-10 in extra innings
• 6/19/10- After Sex Masta Wes pitched a lights out first inning playing solo against the Unsalted Pugs, he injured his arm. Wes fought bravely through the pain and even took of his shirt in hopes of him pitching better. Wes pitched both righty and lefty throughout the game. Wes finished the game in a 8-1 loss but everyone knew he was a real warrior after that day
• 6/17/10- Nick Whitney makes what could arguably be the best play in AWA history. In his first game he completely reaches his arm over the center field fence to rob Bronze Kelly of a HR into the neighbors yard
• 6/17/10- Bronze Kelly bombed one off of Chico Jose which completely cleared the house and was found still in the middle of the road. About 3 feet away from tying the farthest HR to left field
• 6/17/10- Bronze Kelly slammed a heater off of Benny B which shattered the house window
• 6/16/10- Bronze Kelly conjures up one of the biggest trades in AWA history. It was a three team trade between the Armadildos, Unsalted Pugs, and, FUP Grasskickers. The Armadildos recieved Matt Wark, The Pugs got slugger Eric Koloski, and the Grasskickers got Mark Glacken and Alex Pompei
• 6/9/10- Bronze Kelly pitches the first no hitter of the season. He no hit the FUP grasskickers with a roster that consisted of chico jose, and asian K. Batters could not get a piece of it and they went down whiffing.
• 6/5/10- It was graduation night and there was grad night as a celebration for the graduates. Benny B and Bronze Kelly both attended the event until 5 in the morning. They had a scheduled game at 10:00 in the morning. Benny B slept 6-9, but struggled to stay awake. When he finally awoken, it was 10:30 and nobody was there to represent his team, resulting in a forfeit. Bronze was the only one to show up for his team
• 5/29/10- During the CullPepper Salt/ Unsalted Pugs game, Benny B fouled a pitch off of Seamus' head and over the fence
• 5/29/10- The AWA had its first live performance. The Nights of October were brought in and did very well
• 5/25/10- What could be the trade of the year, went down in Mr. Dementos English class. The CullPepper Salt and the Unsalted Pugs reached an agreement at about 1:59 PM ET after an hour dispute. A trade was established that could benefit both teams. The CullPepper Salt traded away 2nd round pick Matt Wark, and 3rd round pick Kyle Martindell for The Unsalted Pugs 3rd round pick, Seamus Carey
• 5/15/10- The most ever black people at the field was recorded at 1 and a half. Gabe being 1, and Szol being a half
• 5/15/10- Wark started repelling from a tree again
• 5/15/10- Wes LaValley walked in for his first preseason game. He looked drunk and was falling over a lot. He went up to bat lefty and everyone was laughing at him. He swung one handed lefty and took chico deep over the right field fence. Nobody could believe it. Wes flicked his bat and stuck up his middle finger. He then proceeded to run as if their were bases on the field
  
• 5/8/10- Before a game, Kyle Pfau, Benny B, Patrick Ramsey, Chico Jose, Joe Czarnik, and Danny were on chatroulette. Kyle Pfau was talking to people while Benny B had a gun pointed to his head. People either disconnected right away, or were all freaked out and concerned. Chico Jose started laughing like a beast
• 5/8/10- In between games the weather become violent, like it was on and off all day. All of a sudden, the rain turned to hail and the stones poured down violently, taking power lines with it. It was an amazing sight to see the field scattered with ice
  
• 5/1/10- In the first night of AWA action since 2009, the neighbors had a fire going. It was a bunch of under aged girls that knew the players. Kyle Pfau wanted to call the cops on them and say that they were disturbing the peace. Kyle Pfau called the police and the crowd that was there hid on the porch with the lights off. People became restless from waiting and soon enough the game continued. In the middle of the game, a cop came up to the fence and asked that the volume be lowered. So the music was turned off and the game continued
• 5/1/10- Kyle Pfau and Matt Wark isolated themselves together away from everyone else and were sitting down talking to each other.  Koloski said aloud "Matt found his soul mate" . Everyone started laughing as the two strolled off into the darkness together
• 5/1/10- In the 3rd pre season game, Bronze had the first walk off win of the year as he hit a 2 run HR off of a koloski curve to win the game 3-2
  
• 4/24/10- Patrick Ramsey surprises everybody when he skips over Matthew Wark in the 1st round of the draft, and picks up Joe Czarnik instead. He then follows up with Wes Lavalley in the second round

2009 AWA Greatest Moments

• It started as a great night for spring training wiffleball. It had rained all week and it finally seemed as if we might get a game in. When the 1st inning was over the rains started to pour down. Determined to finish the game, Benny B made the call to continue the game. The rain caused major flooding to the field and soon everybody was standing in water up to their ankles. Pitching was horrible and batting was even worse. It had never gotten this bad in the history of the league. People were playing in bare feet with totally soaked clothes, and some were rolling and diving in mud. The game was finished however and Benny B and Matt prevailed over Bronze and Chico 23-1 in the harsh conditions.
• Eric Koloski bombed a homerun in his first at bat in the AWA since he came out of retirement. Something that is a regular occurrence with this legendary player.
• Ms. Audrey Douglass prevails as the 1st place donater (5/22/09) in a close battle that went down to the final hour.
• The first live AWA Draft occured on 6/6/09. Although it was considered one of the weakest draft classes of all time, it was a milestone in the organization.
• On opening day of the AWA, the two games both came to a dramatic finish to kick the season off with a bang. The first game between the Unsalted Pugs and the CullPepper Salt ended in the 9th inning of 5 in a close 3-2 win for the Pugs. The second game between the Dingleberries and the Tater Mitts ended in the bottom of the 5th with a 2 run walk off HR (4-2). That was the Dingleberries first ever franchise win. It was an electrifying opening day of great wiffleball.
• Matthew G thought a 10:00 morning game was at white brook so he rode his bike down to white brook to find out the game was at Tiere field. Matthew rode his bike back only to get really mad, and have to ride his bike back over to work again minutes later.
• On 6/26/09 at the first game away from Tiere, The CullPepper Salt came up with a big 1-0 win over the league leading Unsalted Pugs. The win tied the race up for first place as both teams were 3-1 on the season.
• 6/30/09- The CullPepper Salt picked up the first win by forfeit of the season as no Tater Mitts showed up to the 7:00 PM ET game.
• After a 2-0 no hitter by Bronze over the Tater Mitt team, tempers flared. Big transactions were made immediately following the game. Pat Ramsey dropped Ri Ri from the Tater Mitts. Bronze and the Unsalted Pugs picked Ri Ri up from free agency. Then Chico traded Matt to the Tater Mitts for $6.
• After Chico traded Matt Wark to the Tater Mitts for $6, he wisely used the money to pay off Eric Koloski's dept to the league. In return Koloski agreed to play for the struggling Dingleberry Franchise. When many thought releasing Matthew was a horrible move, the crafty captain Chico used the move to get one of the greatest players and make his team a contender again. Koloski was signed by the franchise 7/12/09.
• It was a showdown between the 3-7 Tater Mitts and the 8-2 CullPepper Salt on 7/15/09. The pitching was dominant on both sides all game. The Tater Mitts had both Pat Ramsey and Matthew Wark pitching throughout. In the bottom of the 6th, with one out and no one on, Benny B hit a big blast off of Matthew to right field to end the game in walk off fashion. It was a great and exciting game to watch and be a part of.
• In one of the longest games in AWA history (11 innings, 6 of which are extra) Benny B ended the game for the second time in a row with a walk off HR against Matt Wark (1-0). It was an exciting game all through. The Tater Mitts had there opportunities as in the 3rd and 2nd they had bases loaded. Joseph also hit a blast in extras that was robbed by the trees to keep the CullPepper Salt alive. There was blood, sweat, and tears in this one. Koloski said he was glad he came to watch it.
• 7/31/09 (All Star Game Recap) The 2009 AWA All Star Weekend is officially over with the conclusion of the All Star Game, an event where the best players in the AWA from the first half of the 2009 season gather to give the fans a show and earn ultimate bragging rights for their division. Last year the south won this event, so the North was ready to come out firing to prove they could compete with South talent. The Game itself made AWA History. The game went 13 long innings, which was an AWA 5 inning game record at the time, and the ratio was almost 3:1. Both teams were overwhelmed by the others pitching. It was a defensive battle throughout. Pat Ramsey led the South in offense through the game, but it was not enough to push home any runs against the dangerous 2009 North Division. Ramsey also had a stellar performance on the mound for the south, pitching 11 scoreless innings and contributing to a team 10 inning no-hitter. Likewise the North also performed well defensively, ruining every chance the south had at scoring. Many thought the battle would never end, and could continue long into the night. The game was full of tense moments as both teams fought verbally and physically in a brutal matchup. In the end however it was the south who took it for the second year in a row 1-0 in the bottom of the 13th.

2008 AWA Greatest Moments

• The Cull-Pepper Salt faced off against The Dingleberries. Cull-Pepper Salt with a full team roster that day, tied the AWA record for most runs in a game (45) in the 7th inning. Benny B said whoever hits the record breaking RBI will sign the wiffleball and put it in the Museum. The team fought over it the next two innings while hoping each other would fail. In the last 2 innings nobody was able to hit the game winning RBI and everybody learned a valuable lesson.
• It was a blowout game between the prospects and the Pros. Chico Jose Morales' pitch was thrown way over the backstop fence. Everyone erupted with an outburst of laughter from the rare occasion. Chico Jose Morales took it personal though and became upset. To show how people were laughing at the occasion and not him, pitcher Bronze Kelly threw one over the fence also while everyone laughed again.
• The new prospect pickup, Andrew Blair  came up big in the last Pro-Prospect game of 08 as he was knocking in RBI's all day. The game went down to an intense bottom of the 9th 2 run walkoff by Matthew Wark. This dealt the 19-0 pros their first loss.
• Benny B went to a camp for 2 weeks in August. This dealt the wiffleball community a great depression as people were slowly dying. Benny B came back and immediately started planning for the 2008 Fall Season to get people going again.
• Lights were purchased at Ace Hardware and night games were introduced to the AWA.
• Benny B robs Ri Ri's HR in an AWA game for the second robbed HR in AWA history. (1st was Benny B robbing the usually unlucky A-Rod in 2007)
• Eric Koloski announces that he will come out of retirement to play in 2009.
• The AWA Museum was established after the first light bulb burnt out and Benny B wanted to save it.
• Pat Ramsey hit 3 towering blasts in an AWA game (almost longest HR's). One hit the neighbors hot tub, off the roof onto porch, and onto porch.
• Benny B catches on fire in the early AWA year as he hits 21 HR's in 3 games, and almost sets a HR milestone in a game of 10 (9).
• Blair in a HR Derby takes a pitch over the top off the left center monster tree. Something that has never been witnessed before and maybe never will be again.
• Bronze Kelly comes up huge in the August 2 on 2 tournament as he won the game with a 3 run walkoff HR against Dice K (Eric Koloski). This could have been arguably the greatest game ever played in AWA history. (Down 2 runs in extras bronze hits a huge HR to win it with one out).
• Pat Ramsey does it again in an AWA Cull-Pepper Salt v.s. Unsalted Pugs rivalry game as he hits a game tying extra inning HR to keep the Cull-Pepper Salt in the game. Cull-Pepper Salt would eventually lose by Sean Gustavis' walkoff grand slam in extras to deal the 9-0 Cull-Pepper Salt their first loss of the season.
• Early in the AWA season Erik Koloski steps up in extra innings and does what A-Rod does best and hits a monster walkoff HR over the house in the night. That helped the Cull-Pepper Salt get another W from their rivals, The Unsalted Pugs.
• Another great 2008 Chico brawl broke out between Benny B and Chico in a regular season game. The two bralwed it out on the field for a while. A few games later an even larger brawl between the two broke out (eventually leading to chicos suspension a absence to the last two season games). The brawl was fierce as Chico tried many attempts to take down Benny B. AWA security was called in to deal with the situation. Chico was ejected. In later innings Chico returned to the field. Benny B was taken to a safe zone and Security handled the manner. Chico received a 2 game suspension with only 2 regular season games left.
• Matthew sets an AWA record for suspensions in a season (5). His most noticeable suspension came when after a game Matthew took Benny B's bike and on field equipment and put it in a tree.
• In a controversal day for the AWA and after much council discussion, Benny B admits Sean Gustavis into the AWA and T.V. ratings immediately skyrocket.
• Bronze comes up big in the 17th inning of the first playoff game and hits the eventual winning triple. (6-3)
• Nicola Helms is turned into Chico Jose Morales by the media. A name that stayed, and will soon become a household name.
• After much AWA discussion Ri Ri was handed his first captain position, as he took control of the Dingleberry team.
• AWA Illegal substance policy becomes more strict when allegedly many of the teams at the August 2 on 2 tournament were drinking Mountain Dew (An illegal drink in the AWA). An investigation also took place for Eric Koloski (allegedly taking Badger Milk), and Chico Jose (Allegedly taking steroids).
• Matthew loses his weed wacker part at Tiere field. A month later Benny B's puppy runs into Tiere field only to come back with the missing part in its mouth.
• The August 2 on 2 tournament team of Matthew and Pat, who were expected to go 1-4, finished with a record of 4-2 and making it to the finals. They knocked of teams such as the 3-1 Blair/Gustavis team.
• A dead cat was found on Tiere field. The cat was honored as play was suspended, and buried with the other fallen animalia of Tiere field.
• Benny B recorded the first ever foul ball out on the left side of the brown monster.
• Benny B and Matthew held AWA sign ups at the Tiere field tree. The outcome was a sucess and a small party occured after.
• At a scheduled Cull-Pepper Salt v.s. The dingleberries game, Matthew Wark cmae to the field early and hid in the bushes. When Benny B was setting up the lights for the night game matthew jumped out of the dark bushes and scared Benny B.
• In initial voting for the All-Star team, Benny B did not make the team. This made the council upset and under investigation it was shown that the ballots were tampered with. There was a re-vote and Benny B and Gustavis tied. There was another vote for either of the 2 and Benny B won in a clean sweep and finally after an all day ordeal he made it into the All-Star game.
• At the 2 on 2 August tournament, Team Joey and Daniel were indited on charges of drinking Mountain Dew before their games. Charges were dropped in court because they lost all their games anyways.
• Matthew Wark won his first AWA award at the ceremony. He brought home the new AWA employee of the year award after his great grounds crew job and his excellent security work.
• During an Unsalted Pugs vs. The Dingleberries game, The Cull-Pepper Salt team raided the field with a group of followers. They were eventually sent away by umpire Benny B and Enforcer Andrew Blair.
• Tarp is purchased for Tiere field. It proves to be valuable after a great rainstorm. The game was still on and the Pitcher's mound and Batter's box was dry as before the storm.
• Bronze, P. Ramsey, Eric Koloski, and Benny B have a competition where they have to hit the strike zone, and the order they do it in decides the pitching rotation for wifflestock. Koloski wins first game.
